Artist-Led Tour of In Flux: Chicago Artists and Immigration - May 4
This live event will take place May 4 at 7pm. Register for the Zoom link.
In Flux: Chicago Artists and Immigration is a continuation of the 2018-2020 project Living Architecture – a large-scale, multidisciplinary exhibition. In Flux began as a response to the current political climate, and now during this time of COVID, we see an already strained immigration infrastructure further placing immigrants in precarious states. This show originally opened at 6018North on Labor Day to honor immigrant and artistic labor – often unseen and unvalued. Featuring Amanda Assaley and Qais Assali, Óscar I González Díaz, Maryam Taghavi, Jan Tichy, Roni Packer, and others.
This program is part of the exhibit In Flux: Chicago Artists and Immigration.
