Arete

Moral virtue in ancient Greek. According to Aristotle, human beings have by nature the ability to become virtuous through the practice of virtuous acts. Virtue in this theory is the golden mean between the vices of excess and deficiency. This piece illustrates that balance for me between my Mexican roots, my love for the jazz tradition and western classical music.
