Idylls of the King
Created for a group show about protest artwork, this hand-sewn, hand-painted banner features lines from a Tennyson poem of the same name, which is about King Arthur's life & times. From his funeral barge, King Arthur comforts Sir Bedivere with this quote, implying that even thought the Knights of the Rounds Table was a noble institution, it should die with the King because any institution which lives on and doesn't change with the culture will only become irrelevant and thus harmful to society.
