The Quarantine Times
The Quarantine Times is an expanded publication project, designed by Public Media Institute. Together we provide direct support of one artist per day, via the commission of new works, for the duration of the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020. We invite people to call in to share their messages about how they are dealing with the pandemic. 773- 823-7900. They will air on our radio station and online at the website.

Having grown up in Oak Park, Illinois, I never cease to appreciate the beauty of the Ginkgo tree. From its spiritual symbolism to its rich, scientific history, it serves as a lovely reminder of hope, strength, unity, and courage - especially now during this time of uncertainty.
