Nancy Hays & The Heffernans have recorded a love song about family, friends, and home. Duet lead vocals, solo violin strains, and sweet family harmonies wrap around Nancy's personal tribute to her birth place in the state of Illinois.
Additionally, a digital platform of Hays' critically acclaimed "home learning" dance instruction series has launched. The platform features ballroom, party, wedding, and country styles for all ages, but with particual appeal to students and seniors (www.DanceWithNancy.com).

It Was A Rebellion has been in development for three years. An early version was performed as a pirate radio broadcast at Homan Square, a former Chicago Police Department black site. It mixes music from the Civil Rights Era and the Black Panther Party, news reports and political speeches, and ephemeral and symbolic sounds to articulate public expressions of Black rage.
It Was A Rebellion (House Mix) plays on the political roots of Black with a Chicago-style dance party vibe.
