Circus Banners from the Circus of My Imagination

The Knife Thrower is from a series of 5ft tall banners of my Circus Sideshow performers. They are part of a 3+ year project of painting the Circus of my Imagination. I will be hanging them in rotation in front of my house through the governor's stay-at-home order, and perhaps longer. I was inspired to install the work after seeing a number of videos of Italians singing and playing music from their balconies. These are my visual arias that are an exclamation of joy and hope in these strange, difficult and stressful times.
