Migrant Viruses
The quarantine is a time to watch ourselves (by force). To let the demons come around to eat us. This virus that came on a plane and migrates to warmer bodies everyday. Bodies consumed by night monsters. “A pataletas de ahogado” we resist the fear of death. The piece is made of self-drying clay, water, and minnows. This work is based on the poem “Migratory Viruses” by Rebeca Beta.
